When I saw this question in the FAQ
Q: I've used ClipMate 6 for years and years. Do I get a free upgrade? I had to laugh. There are times when crowds applaud street musicians here in New Orleans, but don't put donations in the hat. One of the musicians invariably says:
Applause is nice, but it don't buy no red beans and rice.

I agree
however... I paid for CM while on the trial of CMv6
now I have CMv7 and can not get my clips from v6 into v7

I wish someone would visit this forum, looks like no one's been here in months.

In v7, go to File | Database Maintenance | Restore database from backup.
Point to your latest v6 backup, and you'll have your v6 data imported into v7.
