Apparently, the WebRoot Firewall is blocking ClipMate from accessing the clipboard, and possibly performing screen captures. Symptoms will be:
1) When capturing text from browsers, the data is not captured. You may end up with clips that have other formats, and are titled with OTHER: and date/time.
2) When performing an area screen capture, the screen turns white.
3) When your browser is in the foreground, you cannot bring ClipMate up with the regular hotkeys Ctrl+Alt+C or Ctrl+Shift+Q.
The solution is to flag ClipMate as "protected" in the "identity shield" setting within WebRoot. (WebRoot support, please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm sure you'll be visiting here soon...)
